Kani Maldives

This was our first time at a Club Med and it was incredible! Our children our ceoliac and the managers and head chef put in a massive effort to make sure they had plenty of options for food at every single meal! All of the staff at the resort including the kids club, the discovery team, the bar and wait staff were so incredibly friendly and accommodating it made our stay everything we could have hoped for and more! The activities and facilities were also amazing and the surf was awesome too! A perfect family holiday! We will be back!

We have just returned from a 10-night stay at Club Med Kani with our two children (10 and 12) to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it has been one of our favourite family holidays.

The Maldives really are beautiful. Crystal-clear water, white sandy beaches and perfect weather made it feel like paradise from the moment we arrived.

The diving and snorkelling were definite highlights. Club Med runs twice-daily snorkelling trips where we saw turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, moray eels, dolphins and countless tropical fish. Compared with my first visit 15 years ago, it was sad to see some coral bleaching, although that's a global issue rather than anything Club Med can control. Thankfully, the water itself was pristine.

We stayed in a standard room, which was comfortable and clean. Although we had a couple of air-conditioning leaks, they were fixed immediately.

The food was excellent, with plenty of variety at every meal.

What made Club Med Kani stand out most, though, were the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming and worked hard to create such a fun atmosphere. A special thank you to Auzam on Reception, whose kindness and hospitality made our stay so memorable, and to Moosa from Housekeeping for always going above and beyond. Thank you also to Head Chef John, Mahen, Edmund and Majobor in the restaurant, and to Mossey, Sham, Clarissa, Michael and Iris, who made every snorkelling trip fun.

As ever, one of the best things about Club Med is the people you meet. It is a lovely reminder that whatever nationality you are, there are kind, friendly people from all over.

Tip: Don't fall asleep on the beach loungers without a towel underneath—the sandflies will find you! Club Med also has everything you need for scuba diving and snorkelling.

Paradise is made even better by the people. Thank you to the wonderful team for your kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care especially Manu, Siva, Lin, Kim, Shohag. You all turned a beautiful holiday into an unforgettable one. We look forward to coming back.

We are having the most amazing stay at Club Med Kani! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome.
The island is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water, beautiful beaches, and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The food is delicious with lots of variety, and there was always something new to try. The cocktails were absolutely amazing the perfect way to celebrate! The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the perfect place to relax after a day in the sun.
This was an unforgettable family holiday filled with amazing memories, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Club Med Kani, for such a fantastic experience!
