Ski vacations for kids of all ages
Club Med’s mountain Resorts offer all world of possibilities. While you’re out enjoying the slopes, let your kids discover a vacation of their own. Let them fine-tune their ski skills or spend time at the Children’s Clubs. Not matter which option they choose, our team will make sure they’re fully engaged and entertained!
Which class is right for my child?
From the age of 3, children can join Petit Club Med®** and be introduced to skiing by instructors. At 4 years of age, kids can start to take lessons with instructors from the national ski school. The lessons are designed to provide the fundamentals of skiing in a fun and safe environment. Once they’ve completed their course, they'll be awarded their first medal.
After the age of 5, if your child is a beginner and can already slide and do a snowplow stop, they'll receive a "Snowflake."
Next come the "Stars,"* depending on their level. The aim of the 1st Star* course is to teach kids how to keep their skis parallel when turning. At the 2nd Star* level, it's time to tackle the blue runs. For the 3rd Star,* your child can control their balance and speed while skiing down the slope.
*Depending on the country, there may be equivalents to the various levels taught by the ESF.
**At extra cost and only at select Club Med Resorts.
The right lesson for all levels
Once your registration is confirmed (in person or online before you arrive), we'll organize the week according to the skill level of each G.M®
If you've selected a week-long stay, your child's first lesson session will be held on Monday morning. They'll start by skiing a few hundred feet so the instructor can assess their level and put them in the right class. This is designed to ensure they are surrounded by other children of the same level, allowing them to feel more comfortable and motivated than ever.
Use this list to check their level of skiing experience
✔ Birdie: Your child is under 5 years of age
