With Club Med’s scuba diving vacations, the sea is at your service. Our scuba diving resorts promise fulfilling submarine experiences, regardless of your personal scuba diving background and from early ages. Each one of our best diving resorts, from Columbus Isle to Finolhu Villas, offers a tailored experience with customizable services.
Equipment rentals
All PADI® courses include full equipment rentals, including cylinders, wetsuits, lead belts, stab jackets, dive regulators, flippers, masks and snorkels. In addition, your rental will include professional instruction and boat trips, along with a PADI diploma certificate and handbook available on-site at extra cost. At certain resorts, dive computers are also available for rental.
Private charters
To reach your aquatic paradise, boat trips will be provided by the resort. However, if you’re looking to provide your party with an extra-exclusive experience, private boat rentals will be available at an additional cost. Take your vacation to a land down under and jump into the best dive locations Club Med has to offer.

First-time divers program
Learn to dive with Club Med
Never dived? Never fear. Our PADI® Discover Scuba Diving packages will provide you with a safe sink into scuba diving, guided by one of our very own specialists. No certification is necessary for these immersive introductions to the wonders under the sea, but you will get one at the end! For kids, our PADI® Bubble Maker class at select resorts is a wonderful way of introducing your little ones to diving. It allows children ages 8 to 10 to dive to a maximum depth of 6.5 feet in a protected zone. If you’ve never been on a scuba diving trip, this is the perfect deal for you!

These packages are designed to meet the needs of those who've taken scuba trips in the past and are either still looking for a guided experience or trying to get out on their own. If you’re certified but never dived, our PADI® Open Water will take you down to undersea wonders. For expert divers, you can participate in our advanced, accompanied or autonomous diver packages with one of the following certifications:
- CMAS 1 or 2 stars
- PADI Open Water Certification or equivalent
- Local government-issued certification

Scuba diving in the Bahamas

The crystal waters of San Salvador are considered one of the best diving locations in the world. It’s a scuba diving destination famous for containing reefs with healthy coral and fauna, and stunning visibility underwater. Choose from over 30 dive sites 5 to 40 minutes from the resort, featuring walls, canyons, coral heads and other submarine formations. Divers can expect to see exceptionally well-preserved and protected flora and fauna, coral, sponges, all kinds of tropical fish, barracuda, rays, turtles, dolphins and more.
Cancún, Mexico

Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula offers stunning beaches with pure white sand bathed by warm clear Caribbean water, the second longest barrier reef in the world.
Diving in Cancún is not limited to the ocean: this region is renowned for its remarkable cenotes. These unique underground springs create sunbeam-filled caverns flooded with crystal clear fresh water. Some lead to extensive underwater cave systems and are the realm of the technical diver, but divers of all levels can easily explore others.
