Turks and Caicos Scuba Diving Adventures

All PADI® courses include full equipment rentals, including cylinders, wetsuits, lead belts, stab jackets, dive regulators, flippers, masks and snorkels. Dive computers are available at Turkoise, and they are required for anyone who is buddy diving. In addition, your rental will include professional instruction and boat trips, along with a PADI diploma certificate and handbook available on-site at extra cost.

To reach your aquatic paradise, boat trips will be provided by the resort. However, if you’re looking to provide your party with an extra-exclusive experience, private boat rentals will be available at an additional cost. ★ Advanced Open-Water Diver: you don’t need to have extensive experience to enroll. In fact, you can start right after earning your PADI Open-Water Diver certification. This class is simply designed to enhance your scuba diving skills to build confidence and ease when you’re out in the deep blue sea.

★ Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox): this is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. The enriched nitrox air eliminates decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If longer diving sessions and shorter surfacing times sound appealing, then don’t hesitate to sign up for enriched diving.

★ Rescue Diver: past graduates have often described the PADI Rescue Diver course as one of the most challenging yet rewarding they’ve ever taken. You’ll learn the special safety skills necessary to prevent and manage problems in the water, making you an invaluable asset to any scuba group.

★ Dive Master: the PADI Dive Master course offers the first level of professional scuba training. You’ll work closely with a PADI instructor to hone your dive and rescue skills and obtain the qualifications to lead your own diving group and assist others in training.

**ELEPHANT EAR CANYON **

Divers know they are at this site when they see the namesake elephant ear sponge spanning 11 feet in diameter. From there, divers can explore a reef split into sections by sand chutes. Under the boat at the end of the dive, garden eels, stingrays and tilefish are commonly seen.

**SHARK HOTEL **

At the top of the Shark Hotel wall, divers can find schools of grunts, snappers and goatfish. As the name suggests, this site is a good place to spot small reef sharks. In addition, close to the mooring are enormous formations of pillar coral, some of the largest to be seen in Turks & Caicos.

**HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN **

This dive begins 50 feet beneath the surface with a large colony of garden eels in a sand flat, often accompanied by a family of stingrays. Later, experience one of the deeper dives at West Caicos, featuring coral arches and swim-throughs of around 80 to 100 feet.
