Steps for obtaining your Level 1 Diver Certification at Club Med
A diving specialist with over thirty years of experience, Arnaud Basso will be happy to help you achieve your certification.
Level 1 Diver Certification: the PADI Open Water Diver. Over the course of 3 to 5 days, you'll do 9 dives (5 in the pool and 4 from a boat) to get your Level 1* PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Certification.
Communication signals
Here are a few useful reflexes to ensure safety and good communication among divers.
The "OK" signal: your thumb and index finger touch while your other fingers are stretched out.
The "Problem" signal: hand flat and waving back and forth.
The "Going up" signal: hand in a fist, thumb up.
The "Going down" signal: hand in a fist, thumb down.
