Two Upscale Courses Designed by World-Renowned Architects
Your Caribbean golf vacation lies between two of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. Just a short ride way, Club Med places both of these award-winning courses right at your fingertips.
The Corales
At the lavish Corales, designed by Tom Fazio, the exclusive Caribbean golf experience comes to life. The gently rolling fairways and clean waters features of this par-72 course greet every group, along with forecaddies. The tee sheet limits the number of golfers each day, so you might get the feeling you owe the lace - and isn't that what resort vacations are for?
Blue waters, rocky cliffs, crashing waves, coral reefs and the Bay of Corales highlight the views overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Played against crashing waves, six holes rest high on the bluffs, while the last three are on the Bay of Corales and are appropriately named the Devil's Elbow.
Over 200 acres of forgiving Paspalum Supreme grass, ever-changing elevations, strategically placed bunkers and massive elevated greens give this course its distinct personality.
La Cana
On the south side of Club Med, La Cana boasts 27 holes consisting of the three nines - the Tortuga, Hacienda and Arrecife. Designed by P.B. Dye, four holes play on the Caribbean Sea and 10 more holes have ocean views.
With Paspalum grass throughout the course, each shot gets more grip so you can freely fire at pins without the worry of rolling too far past.
An ideal daylong escape, the Golf and Beach Clubhouse, designed by Oscar de la Renta, welcomes Club Med guests to lounge at the pool or on the on-site private beach.
